Red flags
- an urgent request for money for a reservation, delivery or documents before meeting;
- refusal to show the pet or discuss living conditions;
- pressure to take the animal immediately without questions;
- sale, breeding or resale presented as free adoption;
- threats, pressure or attempts to obtain documents or a precise private address.
If something feels unsafe
End the meeting, do not transfer money and do not disclose unnecessary data. Save the conversation and contact support. If a person or animal is in immediate danger, contact the appropriate emergency service.
